Do you have questions about the use of investigational drugs for treatment purposes?

As part of the FDA Basics resource, FDA is hosting a webinar where you can learn more about access to investigational drugs. The featured speakers, Theresa Toigo, Director, Office of Special Health Issues and Richard Klein, HIV/AIDS Program Director, Office of Special Health Issues, will discuss what to consider when deciding whether to seek access to an investigational drug and the ways to access investigational drugs.  There will be time for questions following the presentation.

The 30 minute webinar will be held next Tuesday, February 23, at 3 p.m. ET.

You can find out more information about the webinar, including how to participate in the webinar, on the FDA Basics web site. Click here for more information about the webinar.

I noticed that this webinar was posted on the FDA Basics website 2/18. If a person is signed up for email alerts from FDA Basics, then why wouldn’t they get an email alert for this webinar? Also, why would FDA choose to advertise/announce the webinar here?

    Ola! Fdatransparencyblog,
Interesting Post, I have been investing in stocks now for a few months, and one matter I have learned by knowledge and in university is that one of the most significant issues that has an effect on shorter term stock worth is news and answers. If a organisation releases last quarter’s earnings that exceed anticipations, the stock expense will very likely go up. If a drug company’s new solution does not get the FDA’s approval, the stock price will go down.

My issue is, how can I as an investor be mindful of upcoming occasions like as earnings reports, releases, etcetera. I choose myself continuously examining finance information and studies that have these an affect on stock fees, but where can I find out out about such stuff Before they come about? Thanks!
