Do you know what to do with medicine you no longer need?

Do you know if FDA has a definition for the term "organic" on food labels?

The FDA recommendations for some drugs that are to be discarded that are dangerous – to be flushed down the sink or the toilet! When will we wake up to the need to stop polluting our waterways with discarded medication? It is bad enough that we pass these drugs through our bodies and into waste water – but to actually discard unused drugs in this way should be stopped.

It’s a move in the right direction to see more transparency and information available from the agency that plays such a key role in the health of consumers and their choices they make in their daily shopping.
The page about the organic term should possibly link to the appropriate USDA page so people know someone is taking care of it!
btw the page about discarding medicine has moved already and is now at http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/Transparency/Basics/ucm213042.htm

I comment whenever I appreciate a article on a website or I have something to valuable to contribute to the
discussion. Usually it is triggered by the passion displayed
in the article I browsed. And on this article Find Out More About FDA: New Questions and Answers Available
on FDA Basics | FDA Transparency Blog. I was excited enough to
write a thought ;-) I actually do have a few questions for you if it’s allright.
Could it be simply me or does it seem like a few of the responses appear like coming from brain
dead people? :-P And, if you are posting at other online sites, I would like to keep up with anything new you
have to post. Could you list all of all your public pages like your linkedin profile,
    Facebook page or twitter feed?
