Coming Soon: New Look to the FDA Transparency Blog
You may notice some changes and a few new features on the FDA Transparency Blog soon. FDA is planning to move the blog to a new hosting platform in the next few weeks.
After the move, you will be able to tag blog posts with a 1-5 ‘star’ rating and easily view the top rated posts with a single click. In addition, you will be able to easily print and share posts via email in the form of new buttons at the bottom of each blog post. We also plan to add similar buttons that will allow you to share posts with your friends on popular social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook.

The text on the new page is so small you can hardly see it! Not very friendly on the eyes at all.
The theme is definitely superb… You know how to balance writing and fact. However, I cant get over how little you actually bring to light here. I think that everyones said the same thing that youve said over and over again. Dont you think its time for something less stale, especially for a college site…?

Transparency in government is so very important. So is keeping up with the times and letting people know what you are up to. Way to go FDA!
I tried posting a similar comment yesterday, but it doesn’t seem to have gone through.
I no longer see a link to this blog from the fda.gov page or even the “FDA Transparency Initiative” page (http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/Transparency/TransparencyInitiative/default.htm). It’s quite possible that the link is there and I’m just not seeing it, but I figured I’d mention this so that more people can learn about and participate in this blog.
Many thanks for the comment! The link to the Transparency blog is now on the main transparency site, http://www.fda.gov/AboutFDA/Transparency/default.htm. But we will take a look at the Transparency Initiative page and consider adding a link there also.

I don’t realy like the new template, it’s maybe to sober, but it’s actualy way easier to read on it.
The new look is good for the reader. I like the new layout!
This just proves the importance of social media and social engagement for everyone today – whether big or small. Good to see this happening.
